Ya know, i remember when it was a very low end restraint before but I just absolutely love the stuff they've done with the place, we went there with a decent sized group and loved it, food was amazing and my burger was just fantastic. Kinda wished that they had bigger tv screens or some more near the back since we couldn't hear the tv in the back and it was a really slow day, but we all enjoyed the time and I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

I am from out of town and this diner satisfied my healthy bent as I was able to get a delicious egg white omelette with goat cheese.

What a fun cozy space tucked into downtown Dewit with a variety of great food options and excellent staff. We were seated right away for breakfast and my coffee cup was never empty! I would love to go back and check out their lunch options since they had a lot of vegetarian breakfast choices!

Good food and service. Had the salmon BLT and it was very good. I only wish it would've been a little lighter on the lemon aioli because it was overpowering to the salmon. I'd definitely return.

My husband and I visited Family Tree Cafe this morning for breakfast for the first time...it was delicious! The food, the service and the restaurant itself was over the-top good. Can't wait to go again

Just had breakfast with my daughter and have to say it was a great experience as always. My kids and I come here often and everyone from the owner to the bus staff treats us like family.

Love breakfast at FTC. The country omelette is the best. Have had several other options and they’re all good. Haven’t been there for lunch or dinner as often but when I have it’s always been great. Burgers are delicious and the pasta dishes I have tried are very good. The staff is always friendly and management is responsive to any issues.

Any time I visit home, I always make time for this place. The food is absurdly good (try the burgers), the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is comfy.

We had best meal we have had in years! I was moved to talk to the owner and express just how wonderful everything was .. from the server to the food. We were checked on many times during our meal whether we needed anything. Our sandwiches were large, very fresh and I actually moaned a little when eating the chicken salad sandwich. :-) Hubby had the FTC which is the Family Tree Chicken wrap. Very spicy and delicious. I think it is has their own sauce on it .. a zippy thou...

We stopped in after a meeting in Downtown Lansing. It was rainy and cold. We were on our way home and decided to go to The Family Tree. They are always nice. My husband ordered a salad. He loved it. I ordered a cup of their Tomato Basil and Spinach Pie...I wish I would have ordered A Bowl of the soyp! It was great! Our waitress was fun and attentive. Thanks ya'll! We will see you again!

Stopped in for brunch and we enjoyed our meals. My only complaint about the food is that the corned beef hash seemed to have more potatoes and vegetables than corned beef. Would have been nice if there was a little more meat in it. As for the rest of our meals, the bacon was thick cut and cooked well, the home fries were delicious, and the pancakes were about average. They did not have coat/purse hooks in the women's restroom which is a big pet peeve of mine, but other than that, the restaurant was clean, the decor was nice and the atmosphere was friendly. We will definitely be back to try lunch and/or dinner in the future!

This place is great! Locally owned, the owner is usually around & if you are a regular he tries hard to remember your name. The food has been good everytime I have gone, service is above average.

I like to pop in for lunch or breakfast. Dinner can be a busy time for them so if I get dinner, I usually call ahead & get it to go.

Three of us stopped after golf and we all ordered breakfast. Extremely satisfied with the meal and very good menu. Staff was friendly and Tim came over to the table. We always try to support the local community. We certainly will be back.

We went late Saturday morning for breakfast. We were seated quickly and our waitress quickly greeted us. The menu has a wide variety and the portions were large. Our food was hot and tasty when it was delivered. The waitress checked back to make sure we were satisfied. Good value and good tasting food.

Always friendly and good service. Food is good and each time we go in something new has been added. Nice family restaurant.

We had a family day at the park followed by lunch here. The place was comfortable and very clean. The owner was present and apart of it all. Chatted with us as we paid him for our ticket, chatted with the kids. The burgers were good, the kids were happy. Waitress was nice. Plentiful portions. Yummy mac and cheese. Thumbs up!

I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere, food, and service. We had the Greek sampler platter and it was delicious. They did an excellent job especially considering it is not a Greek restaurant. The Avgolemono soup might be the best I've ever had.

Not that bad of eatery for a average size town. This place will make you feel like home. My first time there and you could tell many of the people were regulars. It appears to be family run. Not sure what their speciality is but what we had was good. I forgot to take pictures. The prices are slightly more than normal but I think you will be satisfied if you give them a try . We will try them again depending on the situation.

Great value. Great folks. How can you 1-star breakfast and Bloody Marys? B&G and the ultimate breakfast were plenty of food for the price and the staff and owner were super friendly and hospitable. Don't let the other reviews dissuade you. Some people don't know how to enjoy themselves.

Went here twice this past weekend. Pancakes for brunch were really good but the goat cheese, sun-dried tomato omelette was awesome! Great salads, especially the michigan cherry salad. Some good cocktails and some good beers on tap as well!

Great burgers and all the appetizers are really good. My favorite is the Jalapeo popper balls. We are really happy to have a place like this in DeWitt to get quality food close to home.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I thought this place was exceptional. I got the Mac and cheese with jalapeos and I added pork. It came with a salad and 2 jalapeo poppers. The portion size was great. And I loved the food. I will return to try the burgers and I think I found a new favorite

The mac and cheese balls are soooo good and I actually never cared for mac and cheese balls until I had the ones from this place..Now I crave them. Unlike other reviews, I thought the customer service was decent enough and prices were fair..And I love that there is now such a nice place in Dewitt to just grab brunch with a really good Bloody Mary or mimosa. The only thing I'd suggest is putting fried pickles on the menu lol

Best breakfast in Dewitt. Locally owned. I really like the corned beef hash. Overall they get better each time we go. Haven't tried dinner yet.
